This was originally to be just a reboot of a stock vector illustration of lips and a pepper, which was all done as gradient mesh and looked like rubber. I used as few effects as possible. The shadows are blurred and there are one or two gradations, otherwise it’s all solid color and still vector. I ended up redesigning the label too.
